REDnesday

Once again it is REDnesday at http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com.

By now, most of you know that Suzanne is my niece. She has gone hog wild on making quilts. This is one I had her make for my great grandson's Christmas. He loves sports, so we went with the baseball theme.

This is a full size quilt. He can use it on his smaller bed as a spread, and when he gets a larger bed, it will be just used as a quilt.

Playing around at some function he attended.

LV, the red quilt is beautiful! What talent she has...I love quilting and wish I could do it, well, I could if I'd make the time but I admire anyone who can do it as beautifully as she does...

Wow!!! What a beautiful quilt for your adorable great grandson! I'll have to stop over at Suzanne's and say that I got to see her talented work! I am determined to get some handpieced and handquilted baby quilts completed, so that when we finally do become grandparents, I will have them ready :o)

Blessings & Aloha, dear friend!

LV...This is such a fabulous quilt. Being one myself, I can appreciate all the hours that had to have gone into piecing and quilting it. What a treasure. Genie

I admire people who can make such beautiful things, but have no desire to make them myself!!

So amazing to hear of your Alaska helicopter adventure - makes the one on my blog seem rather tame!!

Have a great day!!

Hi Meme, this quilt is awesome with the sports theme. I don't know how Suzanne accomplishes as much as she does and she works. I know your grandson appreciates her effort very much. It looks great on his bed too.

I posted the wedding today if you find a moment to visit. It was a beautiful wedding.
Warm hugs, Jeanne

What a beautiful quilt. Not much of that talent around these days. Remember when my granny use to quilt and we played underneath the quilt with the old empty wooden spools. What a wonderful treasure your grandson will enjoy for many years. Blessings, Vicky

Hi LV!

My first thought was when I read "Suzanne is my niece", was that you meant Suzanne of Colorado Lady (Vintage Thingie Thursday) - I know she loves quilts. I know it's a small world but I guess that's probably narrowing down rather more than it is. ;)

I've always wanted to make a quilt - I made a couple of baby quilts but never full size. Your niece is very talented and I bet our cutie pie great grandson loves his quilt.

Happy Rednesday,
Sally
