Should you be making at trip try to avoid Fort Worth.  I do not think there is a highway/freeway that is not under construction.  Traffic is horrendous. Delays after delays.

 

Gone To The Dogs Pink Saturday

Across the street from where my great grandson(Layton that most of you have met through other post) lives, the family has three French Bulldogs.  When they had to go out of town, they would bring them over to my great grandson's to stay. Layton had grown to love and enjoyed caring for them. After awhile, the family decided to give up one. There are two sisters, Ella and Cosett.  The other fellow is Henry, no relation. My great grandson has Ella now.  The two sisters recently had a birthday.  The lady across the street made sure it was celebrated in style.

Blue Monday

Good morning Sally and Blue Monday friends.  Starting later today, it will not be a good day.  Very cold front moving in with possible freezing. No doubt at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com you will find many warm blues.

These are two oil paintings that a local artist did for me several years ago.  Have several pieces of her work in oils and water color.  I treasure them as she has since passed away.  These were painted of sights she saw in hill country. For those of you not from Texas, that is in the southern part of Texas.

I have enjoyed some of the best ice cream ever made from a freezer like this. I have two sisters and one would add ice, one salt and most times I had to turn since I was the oldest.  That gets tiring, but  it was worth it.

Then we would all have a seat and enjoy.  However, we never had a blue table like this.
