For those that visited my last weeks post for Wednesday, that was doodle bug holes.We loved to get a straw or stick and dig into the hole tryng to get the bug to come out. Was not too successful. It kept us entertained.

Some of you know my great grandson, Layton. He was on Sally's blue Monday a lot as blue is his favorite color.  He is now 13 and participating in bigger things.  He loves golf.  He was recently in a local golf competition.  He won first place in all categories.  As a  result, he and the second place winner got the opportunity to go a step further.  They competed with several others in their age group at this great golf course in Houston, TX. There could only be one winner in this level. Unfortunately, he was not the winner.

What have we here?  One of the fun things we did when kids. We had no idea what store bought toys where. In fact, even today, I try to find them.

Outdoor Wednesday

It has been awhile since I saw a sight like this.  However,  in Texas, it changes every hour seems like.  Monday of this week,  the temperature was 96.  Tuesday drastic change over night to 59. Had to find me a coat.  Wednesday predicted to be low of 55 and warmed up to 79.  Maybe fall is finally getting here.

Anything Goes Pink Saturday

I recently mentioned I was attending my first outdoor wedding.  It was for Suzanne's(my niece) daughter's wedding. Suzanne did the entire wedding with little help using her own ideas and decorations.  Even down to the complete table settings. She had been collecting plates for years planning for this occasion.  Unbelievable job and so much time and work.
