Anything Goes Pink Saturday

(Pinterest images)
To Beverly and all her many friends at Looking forward to being a part of your world throughout the New Year 2017.

Thought this was so sweet.  It is very simple but shows a lot of love. Make a pledge for 2017 to take
Time is
Too slow for those who wait,
Too slow for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice,
But for those who love,
Time is not.

Blue Monday

After a visit from Santa, we need to go to and see what he delivered. However, the weather in Texas made it hard on the reindeer.  It was 70 degrees, Christmas Day.

Special Swedish Package

This is the card included in my package.  It is a real steam train wheeler from a railway museum.  During this time of the year they offer Christmas trips to the public.

There are many, many bloggers more popular than me.  However, there a few I have bonded with. One is a dear lady in Sweden, AnnA. I had a very nice surprise from her last week. She has blessed me several times with little treasures from her world.
She is a lady of many talents. She is an artist and avid gardener. Lots of beautiful flowers and arrangements.
This is a painting of her English Summer Roses.
The little cardboard church was from a banking business many, many years ago.  I liked it and kept it along with others all these years.

The little characters represent a typical Swedish Christmas.  One is Lucia Maid, Candle Boy, Christmas Boy and small Gingerbread Boy. December 13,they have the Lucia Day in Sweden.

Outdoor Wednesday

Finally, a lovely, warmer day to be outdoors.  It may not be that way in your area, but when you stop by you will enjoy the outdoors more.

This plant/vine originally came from Asia.It is called Kudzu. It was brought to the United States in 1876 and thrives more in the South. It will literally cover everything in its path.  People have to work at keeping it under some control. My sister lives in Mississippi and these shots were taken around them. In the South, it has covered over seven million acres.

Blue Monday

Welcome to another special day of blues with Jeanne. Some of the best can be found at

On my outing last week, this blue caught my eye. Prayers are definitely needed for the
"blue officers".  There have been several around here recently.  Some so senseless.  I read where there has been 63 fallen officers in 2016.
