It is hard to believe this is a lamp. I spotted it in an antique mall. Someone was creative. The base is a vintage sausage grinder with shade from an old strainer. Just goes to show, there is a use far most everything.
This is a window curtain that I bought at an estate sale. The lady had made it for a small window in her dining area. It was not priced. They had not planned on selling, but finally agreed to let it go. I have no window it fits, but was just drawn to it. I had not seen any embroidery work used as a curtain. She had each panel tied back with a ribbon that matched her embroidery. Looked very nice.
