Anything Goes Pink Saturday

I enjoy putting puzzles together in the winter when too bad to get out.  Received this 1000 piece one for Christmas.  It is the the Twelve Days of Christmas.  I prefer smaller versions, but enjoyed the challenge.

Sky Watch Friday

We have not seen even this small amount of sky in days.  Winter time finally came to Texas.  Been so foggy and cold. May the day wherever you are be a nice one.

A small carnival was in one of the mall areas recently.  I did not attend, but liked the various flags flying. Would have been so much nicer if it had been a sunny day.

Blue Monday Two

Due to circumstances beyond her control, Jeanne cannot post Blue Monday for awhile.  In her absence, our dear friend, Magical Mystical Teacher at http://bluemondaytwo.blogspot.com is allowing us to continue enjoying Blue Mondays.

I will definitely have to visit other blue post today as is not a good morning in Texas. The Cowboys have done so well and played a great game against a super talented team. Just so close.  I pulled awfully hard but just was not meant to be.

Anything Goes Pink Saturday

In all my 87 years, never have I seen a real  flower bingo card. As I have mentioned on occasion, I play at least once or twice a week in a nice bingo hall.  All ages play, but mostly seniors. It's something we enjoy as it gets us out of the house, keeps mind active, and make new friends. I have met some truly lovely people. The down side is there have been several that passed away the past year. We lost the sweetest little lady (92) last week. They said she played everyday that her family brought her. Since she devoted so much time to playing bingo, the family had this flower arrangement made to look like a bingo card. After her service, it was brought to the bingo hall so everyone could see it. The numbers got messed up in the moving process.

She used a walker.  She had a certain place she sat each day that was accessible for her walker.  These flowers were left in "her spot" in her honor.

No Blues Today

 As most of you know by now, there will not be a Blue Monday for awhile.  The area where Jeanne lives does not have an internet carrier at this time. May not be available for two more months.  We will miss her but understand.
