Deck the Halls Pink Saturday

Pink Saturday is being brought to you each week from Beverly's at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog

You can feature anything you choose, but she had suggested Decking the Halls. Mine is decking the malls.

Now Pink Saturday would not be complete without a pink tree.  This is courtesy of the internet. I do not even have a tree, pink or green.

Most of your homes probably look like this, but mine is just plain and simple.

Proving my point, this is as good as it will get at my house.

Simple or not, I quite like your wreath above your fireplace. Very pretty. Happy holidays to you and thanks for stopping by!

Good one LV - I have put out way less (less to clean up later) this year. Every year less is displayed. I am donating as I go, down to 2 mid sized bins and a bag of decorating stuff. Thanks for the reminder for Pink Saturday.

HPS!

I love walking the malls when there are a little empty to take a look at all decorations.

Thanks so much for your kind comments on my blog!

I look at the heart that is put into things, not so much the size or extravagance of it. Lovely post. Greetings from Montreal, Canada. Merry Christmas to you.

It's not about the decorations, LV... It's about the LOVE you share at Christmas... AND--you have so much love to share...

Merry Christmas...

I love your little snowmen and the reindeer....
As we age, we want less, I think. I always think of having to pack it all back up if I get out too much. :)
Have a wonderful Christmas.

Hi LV, we are going simple this year too. So many caregiving issues to juggle, it's the "only way to fly" for us this year. :) We do have a tree up but it's only half decorated. And looks quite nice! With a wreath on the front door - and that's about it. But my blog is nicely decorated and there's a ton of Christmas music decorating my car's atmosphere as I drive back and forth babysitting grandchildren. Simple but delightful. Praying your Christmas is as well.

I had a good laugh. Most of our homes do NOT look like that, I don't think! And yours is very festive, with extra bonus points for hanging something from a brick wall. Also I loved the pink tree, whoseever it is.

LV, I agree with you. I love the look of all the gorgeous décor, but with so much going on I'm trying to simplify, too. I think your mantle is plenty festive. Love those cute snowmen.

Hi LV, I too have not put out any decorations. Just my angel on the mantel and some tree ornaments in a bowl. Love the pink tree, guess if I had one I would have it out in our living room. Hugs...Lu
