Pink Saturday

Beverley and her Pink Saturday will definitely tickle you pink  After a long work week, just relax, sit back and enjoy some of the best Pinks. Your destination is http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog.

These two little pink, swan wall plaques belongs to my sister.  She has had them since year one.  They are still hanging in one of the bathrooms today.

Most of you have met Alica at "Alicia's Art Shop".  She was recently the featured guest on Pink Saturday. She is a very talented lady that creates some of the cutest cards.  She had a giveaway of two of her cards, and I was very fortunate to have been one of the winners.  You had a choice of what card you wanted from several. They were all so cute - hard to pick one.  I love coffee and probably drink too much. Therefore, I selected this one.  Too, I am also a firm believer that everyone needs a hug each day. Thank you so much Alicia for the opportunity to win one of your cards.  I love and plan on framing it. There are a lot more cute cards at http://aliciaartshop.blogspot.com or aliciaartshop.etsy.com.

Hey there! Happy Pink Saturday! I see you've stopped by my flowers pink post. Thank you! Thanks for your compliment.

I love the card too - very neat idea - artful and very good thoughts to it!

Years and years ago, I made my grandmother plaster of paris gold fish for her bathroom - they hung in her bathroom "forever". Some things just get to do that in our lives, huh?

Love the tickled pink sampler - cute dresses!

Take care . . . til next time, Jenn

The picture of the swan's remind me of plaques my mother's friends all made in the 1970's. they are pretty. I'm going to head over to Alicia's Art Shop now-

Oh those swans are fabulous! I really love those vintage plaques! I found a lone cherub with a trumpet at the thrift store! It is hanging above our clothes closet! I thought about painting it a different color (it is gold) but for now I will keep it like I found it!
You are so praiseworthy of so many! I enjoy knowing you a lot! Always a kind word to say!
