Vintage Thingie Thursday

Time passes weekly for Vintage Thingie Thursday, but other occasions takes a little longer. You will truly enjoy your visit with Coloradolady at
       http://coloradolady.blogspot.com.
Also, take the time to wish her an early Happy Birthday.  It is Friday, March 21, but you can enjoy them more than one day.

This does not represent a weekly event, but goes back 66 years.  This was when I graduated.  We had a football team named, The Atlanta Rabbits.
We had a nice band that went with the football team. This is a patch that was worn on our uniforms. I have two sisters and we all three played in the band.  One sister played the clarinet, one was a majorette, and I played a snare drum.

Fun memories. The Shirley Temple invitation is certainly a very timely memory of her.

Had to laugh at your team name. We went to Clarkston High School (Washington State) whose mascot was the Bantam! (I'm not sure which is less fierce, a rabbit or a chicken!)

Thanks for the memories.
