Good Fences

Welcome TexWisGirl on your first "Good Fences" meme. This is a great opportunity to meet our gracious hostess and see some very interesting fences. Join her and friends at
 http://run-a-roundranch.blogspot.com

The right-of-way crew must have been too busy to clear this fence.

Sands of time cannot be fenced in.

I love the sand fence, but feel sorry for the poor one that is overgrown.

First time visiting your blog. The sand fence is familiar to me, growing up on the shores of Lake Michigan. Good to meet a young 84 yr-old blogger

Hi LV. Great fence pictures. I like the beach one as we have the same fences at our shoreline beaches. The other one is pretty overgrown.

Great fences! Our right of way crews just cut down pine tree limbs...never glancing at grown-over fences. Oh I guess they spray poison every now and then to keep it at bay..but I'd rather they not do that.

Both are really nice, but I'm always a sucker for a beach shot.

The sands of time fencing may not hold it all back with the winds of change, but it makes for a terrific scene!! I can hear the gentle waves of the sea and feel the sand making contact on my face. Gotta love it.

Hi LV.
Thanks for the visit. When I see a fence like that first one, I almost want to clean it up myself.

The gate I featured is on the north side of Rivercrest CC.

Hi LV, I enjoyed your photos. Neat that we shared a very similar photo in your second shot. The first one reminds me of some of the fences we have along our country lanes. Thanks for visiting and have a great evening :)

Great post LV...GOOD FENCES for sure! Even the overgrown one. Think of the story it has to tell! Of course, there's an adventure hidden among the slats of the dune fence. You go girl! Aloha

Some nice contrasting fence photos - one forgotten, one enjoyed. I'm afraid I have some of the more 'forgotten' kinds around the back of my property. :) Nice to meet you - Karen from 'Good Fences'.

Great captures, and I particularly like the sand dunes - looks very much like our sand dunes up at the southern tip of Lake Michigan. :-)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my Good Fences image.

Fine fence shots. They are so varied and each good in its own way. Nice work. I joined Good Fences too.

Hi there, We are back from ANOTHER trip. This time we were in Georgia checking out yet another waterfall... Check my blog today when you get a chance.

Great photos of the fences. I've seen some of Theresa's fences from Texas before. Gorgeous!

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,

We have plenty of fences around here that look like the fence in your first photo. I would love to be at the beach so we could see some fences trying to hold in the sands of time. Have a great weekend.
