A vintage "Paymaster" check embosser machine form the 50's.
A very, very old sewing machine. In fact, it is too vintage even for me to remember. Spotted it in an antique mall. I am glad times have changed for you that enjoy sewing.
Oh dear LV, I love your vintage machines, specially the sewing one! I had a turn of the past century one at our farm house and I know it's some where in storage! Have a lovely Mother's Day! Hugs, FABBY
My parents had a similar check embosser machine! The hand crank sewing machine looks like it may have been a toy. Is that Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf on the front?
Young 88 who is enjoying life to the fullest. Retired in 1991 after working 40 years. Lost my husband in 1995. This is a new world for me and I am not a writer. So bear with me, and perhaps in the future I can present something of interest to you.

The check embossing machine, I would never even have known what it is. Back to a simpler and more innocent time...
I got to imagine how much different that sewing machine works compared to the modern day versions.
