Sky Watch Friday

There was plenty of sky watching in Texas last night.  We had some very bad weather.  Trust wherever you may be, blue skies are smiling down. If you pay Sandy, Sylvia and Yogie at http://skyley.blogspot.com a visit, great worldwide sky sights can be found.

Different views looking through tree limbs. The following one drew the attention of the birds.  Decided it would make a nice place to build a  nest.

Your pictures are lovely; I wondered whether you were near those horrible storms. (I'm a little vague on Texas geography, even though we've spent some time in the state.) I take it by this post that you didn't suffer any damage. (Those tornadoes were terrible.)

I hope that bad weather was far from you. I like the beautiful sunset sky in your first photo.

Hello LV, I love your sky photo with the trees. That nest sitting in the bare trees is awesome. I wonder if it was an early nest for Spring or left over.

I also love your vintage fire hydrant find. "A dogs best friend" made me laugh.

It is a beautiful day here in the mountains. I should be outside pulling weeds from one of my garden beds. I am mostly done though. Everything is looking so pretty at last. I need to take photos for next Wednesday. Smile.

Wishing you happy days my sweet blogging friend.
Love,
Jeanne

PS: The email you sent about flowers I think...would not open on my computer. Sigh. My hubs said he could try so I sent it to him. Then I forgot to ask him. I will today.

The moon and its companion - what serendipity!

The skies you photographed look so gentle! May they remain that way, even while bringing you the rain you need!

Fun that you got to spy the bird nest while the branches were bare. I imagine any new tenants that might use it this year will soon be enjoying plenty of privacy behind abundant leafiness as they raise their babies.

The second photo reminds me of watching a couple of magpies trying to build a nest in a tree near my kitchen window a few weeks ago (branches still bare). They were at it now and then for a few days but then they gave up. Hopefully they found a better spot. Too funny watching them... They just couldn't get the first stick(s) to stay in place, they fell back onto the ground - quite a hopeless game! Thanks for visiting my blog.

Love the soft colors behind the silhouetted branches!
Maybe there will be baby birds to see and enjoy. :)
