Pink Saturday

Hello Beverly and Pink Saturday participates. Always a pleasure dropping by
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog and seeing all the wonderful pinks.
My neighbor and I have been months working on a 1000 piece puzzle.  Still a long way from finishing it.  The above is a 500 piece that my neighbor gave me.  Since it is just 500 and such a cute, kitty snoozing in pink, I may try it. No more 1000 tho.
If you have ever attempted to put one this size together, after a while everything starts looking pink.

i love picture puzzles! when my 2 sisters visited last july, my sis brought along a 3000 piece! we spent a good portion of a week working on it and i still had to finish it myself after they returned home. :) but it is great to just spend time together, talk about anything and everything.

we used to do puzzles a lot when we were first married. I guess we just dont sit down enough without tv anymore. We should, it was fun.

I might try the 500 piece puzzle, but not that 1000 piece!

Hi LaVoice, Those two pink puzzles would be so hard for me to try to finish especially in the almost all the same tones of pink areas.Nice to have a friend to work puzzles together.

I would stick with 500 pieces myself --but I don't have time or the patience to do a hard one. My family (when we would be on vacation) kept a big puzzle going on a card table all week --and everyone would take time to work on it. Usually after the week was over and we were getting ready to go home, that puzzle would be complete. It was more fun doing it with a 'group'....

Betsy

I love them BOTH!! We don't do more than 500 pieces either. Any more is just too much and too hard. But you should see the finished ones at Goodwill that have been lacquered over, HUGE ones. If I spent so much time making a big one, I could never give it to Goodwill!

I think 1000 pieces would be a bit much for me. The 500 piece puzzle looks cute.

It definitely is a gorgeous pink puzzle but I wouldn't have space or attention to complete that one! Thankfully you've got a partner in crime :)
And isn't that kitty just sweetness?
