Pink Saturday

Sorry, I did not visit or comment last week. I have have been slowed down for a few weeks, but getting back into the groove. However, have not had a chance to find many interesting pinks, but things will improve.  Beverly at
and friends will definitely have some great Pinks to share.

Spotted this pink dresser in an antique mall awhile back. I am sure it was some kind of nice wood that has been painted.

Saw this pink rose shade on a lamp that would have looked nicely on the dresser. However, it was not in the same booth.

I hope you are feeling alright. The dresser would be nice in a little girl's room, but the lamp is a bit much.

Get well soon! I surely enjoyed looking at that pink dreser. Makes me want to paint everything in my antique booth pink, too!

Enjoy your weekend!

Take car of yourself LV and it is ok to miss a week or so blogging or more for that mater, rest and feel better. Nice post, though I see no reason to paint beautiful antique furniture and cover lovely wood, just my opinion though:) Hugs marilou ( I didn't post today either) too tired and I'm only 70.

Hello LV, I hope you are ok. It sounds like you have been ill. I pray that you will be well and happy and back to your self very soon.

I don't always love to see wood furniture painted but that is so sweet in pink. The pink lamp shade on the sweet lamp would definitely look great on the pink dresser. Pink is a cheerful color any place any where. Even in Paris and London but I too just want to be where I am.

Take care LV.
Love, Jeanne

I love painted furniture but since my hubby is a woodworker he's not crazy about painting over beautiful wood. I made a shade like that years ago.

How that pink dresser calls to my girly-girl heart!! I'm sure it would have fulfilled all my dreams of pretty when I was a teenager with that heavy old "bedroom suit" of the patterned veneer and huge cannonball bed-knobs.

And the lampshade is what my vision of a perfect Birthday Cake would have looked like, with not just a few of those enchanted pink roses on top, but the entire cake crusted over with the lovely sweet things.

Hope all is well with you out in TX!

LOVE that pink dresser - what fun!

I'm so glad you stopped by The House on Lavender Hill! I know what you mean about the eyes, hooking is easy because it's so repetitive, but I'd stopped stitching because of the loss of so much of my sight. But, the twinsies bought me an awesome crafting lamp with a built in magnifier and voila... I can see enough to stitch in small increments!!!!! I missed it so much!

Happy Pink Saturday!

Oh I like that pink dresser! I need to find one for a good price at the thrift store and paint it pink! Love the pretty nosegay too!

My hubby and I have been sick with sinus and bronchitis. I woke up yesterday with the flu! Ugh! Taking it easy today!

Trying to visit and see what is going on! I hope you will stay well and enjoy the week coming up! Can you believe Friday is March 1st?
Hugs to you and yours
