Pink Saturdays are always special, but today's is an unbelievable, remarkable occasion for me.
Back in April,2009 I hardly knew what a blog was let alone a post. It took me awhile, but finally succeeded in getting one published. It has been one of the best things I have participated in. At my age, you need to keep your mind as active as possible. Blogging has done that and allowed me to meet so many wonderful, caring people. This is my 1000th post today. What better way to celebrate it than on Pink Saturday.You just never know what you can do unless you try. Trust me, I have had my trying times, but it has been worth it. However, I was not sure if I could continue when blogger decided to make so many new guidelines. With all your support, help and encouragement, I persevered and will have four years in April.
You reached out to me and made me feel so welcome into your worlds. I will never meet you personally, but it as been a joy being in your blog homes all this time. I truly have been blessed by your visits ad comments.
It is hard to believe that my last Pink Saturday had the most viewers for the day. With hundreds of participates, it was a shock and a great honor. I was so pleased that you took the time for a peek. Thanks to all of you that made this possible. It meant a lot to me.

It is a pleasure to "meet" you as you celebrate your 1000th post and nearly four years of blogging! I read your sidebar, and it gave me one of the biggest smiles of my entire week. I feel the same way about blogging. My hubby started blogging over a year before I did and I wasn't the least bit interested in doing it. I didn't know what I was missing. I finally did start and never looked back. That was about 5 years ago. I was only 71 then. Now I'm 76. Where did those years go? Thanks for the nice comments you made about my dolls.

CONGRATS, LV... That is AWESOME. I remember that my sweet father-in-law learned to use a computer at age 90... He loved it --and we would email most every day. He did it til his eyesight failed...
