Pink Saturday

Another very hot and humid day in Texas.  However, a visit with Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog will find many cool Pinks Saturdays.

My post today is one perhaps your little girls will enjoy.  Two of my Beanie Babies.

Some talented craft person created this little fairy tale castle.

You just never know how many great and nice bloggers are out there until you do a little browsing around.  I found Joanne at "4joy" this week. A lady with an interesting blog loaded with great post.  She makes her home at http://4joy-joanne.blogspot.com.

When beanie babies were at their height of popularity, my daughter sold her rare royal blue elephant at a beanie show, it paid for her first year of college!! Amazing but true!!

Thanks for your visit and letting me know that the video worked. I thought that I'd give it a try, but have to admit that it was my husband who figured out how to do it!

Love those cute beanie babies!

Hmm. We don't have any pink fairytale castles around here. I guess that's because we have two grandsons, but no granddaughters yet. We have four married children, so maybe one couple will come up with a granddaughter for us yet. :O) Happy Pink Saturday!

thanks for your visit to my blog LV; and thanks for the post on the Beanie Babies, it was a nice trip down memory lane for me as my oldest daughter, Morgan was a OBSESSED WITH THEM - yes, she still has all of them in a plastic tub, even has the ones her brothers had collected as well - those were the "MORE MANLY BEANIES" HA HA. Hope you have a fun pink saturday!

Hi LV!! Sorry I'm so tardy in responding to your comment you left for me this past Thursday....I loved your positive feedback, it makes me feel so good, but working on a lead in my genealogy work took me away from visiting blog friends this week.

I love your pinks!!! Especially the bears. Aren't they adorable? Of course I have a soft spot in my heart when it comes to stuffed animals.

Hope your week will treat you kindly!!! Thanks for visiting last week.

Good morning LV, We are finally home for keeps for the rest of the summer. I am so glad to be home again. I have missed my friends so much. It is unbelievable how much my blogging friends mean to me. Blogging and FB has opened a new world to me and no matter how often I have to slow down on visiting, I will always be back. Especially to visit you my dear blogging friend.

I do love your Pink Beanie Babies. They are the cutest things ever. The problem for collectors is millions were made so the rare ones can never be that valuable again. It was a crazy craze but if one intended to invest to make money it is unlikely they will. It was a great idea for a while though. Now we just have to love them for what they are. Adorable!!! The castle is lovely.

Love you,
Jeanne
