Piper's Pink Saturday

Last week we celebrated a special occasion, Pink Saturday's four year anniversary. Today, I am featuring a young lady that is very dear to me. Her name is Piper and  lives out of town.  We do not get to see each other as much as I would like.  She had a birthday this past week, turning ten. Even at her age, she enjoys cooking where most girls her age prefer other interests. Instead of having a cake, these great cupcakes served them well.

 

Pink has always been one of her favorite colors. She will have a blast scooting around the neighborhood on her pink scooter.

Topping off her week, she was the recipient of three well deserved awards. One, "A" honor roll, two, Top Ten in the mile run and three, Fitness gram.

I would like to share a dear friend of mine this week.  Most of you may have met Ginny.  She writes  very inspiring post, and a true believer of "Let Your Light Shine."  I have many special blogging friends I am very grateful for each and everyone.  However, Ginny takes an extra step and drops by my place daily.  She has never failed to visit and leave a comment on every post I have published.
