REDnesday

REDnesday is what they call hump day. It is also the day for the best showing of reds you will ever see. All you have to do is go to http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com.
Please join me for a sit down in one of these old red lawn chairs. Do not see many like this anymore.

While we are relaxing, we can enjoy smelling the roses.

I love those old metal chairs so much! They remind me of my grandparents, who had a set of red ones, and of course now I have a set too!
Happy REDnesday,
Carol

I love these old lawn chairs. I see reproductions occasionally at building supply stores. One day . . .

I love the red glider. I have 15 or so of those metal chaors, but I don't have a glider like that one! The red is great!
Your roses are beautiful!

My parents had a glider like the one you pictured. Thanks for the memories.

I'd be happy to join you in one of those chairs--but I'd have to bring along a cushion, since I don't have much natural padding myself!

DON’T LET THAT SCARLET GO TO YOUR HEAD

Don’t let that scarlet go to your head!
Be very glad you haven’t been bled!
Give thanks for the colors dear to your heart:
Carmine and cherry and wine— a good start!

Awwww - LOVE your chair set duo. My grandparents had something similar. Thanks, too, for such sweet family memories for this Sandwich Generation granny nanny. :)

Love the red chairs! My grandparents had some just like them, except in yellow. That was a hundred million years ago -- thanks for the memory!
