Pink Saturday

After last weeks exciting Pink Saturday, today's will hardly compare. Nevertheless, you will still find lots of interesting pinks at
The last of my bougainvillea to hold on. Due to the extreme heat, this is the only one still blooming.">
This is one of my treasured quilts with a touch of pink. I bought this queen sized quilt 6-25-91 In Alma, Arkansas. It is called the "Dahlia".

For someone neat to meet, blog over and say hello to Rene. Like so many of you, she is big in the craft world. Check out some of her interesting things at

I have never seen this flower before. I am going to have to do some research on this one! Probably wouldn't survive here in Illinois with our bad winters.

That's a lovely colored bouganvillia, quite pale to the ones that are common here in Australia. I can understand why that quilt is so treasured by you, it's beautiful.

Spring is slowly arriving here and I have seen quite a few bougainvillea plants looking vibrant and colourful in the last couple of weeks. I'm excited that my hydrangea plants have new shoots too.

Happy weekend and happy Pink Saturday!

Best wishes,

What does LV stand for, btw?

I was goin thru a fellow blogger's post when I saw ur link and went on to check your site out. That's how I found you.

Keep up the good work! I once had an uncle who collects orchids from his trips. He was in the military. He's gone now, he was my favorite uncle.

Hi Lv,
Such a lovely quilt to treasure. The delicacy of the bougainvillea is stunning. Can see why the extreme heat wilts them blooms. Glad you took the picture before the last bloom wilted. Thank you for stopping by my blog on Pink Saturday and leaving such a lovely comment. Blessings on your week.
