Hope you get some of that rain soon! We have had to ration in the past and it isn't fun at all. Our lake wasn't very deep and had to be dredged every so often. Now they have our water piped in from a city north of us that is sitting on top of an underground lake that is just huge. Now our water bills are $75-$90 a month. But it beats running out of water.
You can put one brick in the bottom of your toilet tank and it will save so many gallons of water a month. I think everyone in town did that.
The city closed down the laundry mat and the car wash, and put a ban on burning as we couldn't afford a fire breaking lose.
We washed dishes by hand instead of using the dish washer, ran full loads of laundry, took short showers and got these miser shower heads put on both showers.
Hope your drought ends soon. It's hardest on the farmers, for sure.

Anyone can tell that that second cloud is a running dog with it's big ears flopping behind it.

I know you could use the rain, so I hope the cloud in your first picture brought you some. I like the cloud against the blue sky in that second photo.

Love that power-lines shot - echoes of an electrical storm, perhaps??

It seems everyone is needing rain, LV. I'll pray for it for your part of the country, too. It will be nice to see some cooler weather and a little rain, won't it? We are expecting triple digits today.

I hope those clouds brought you the rain you need! They certainly look like they held a great deal of promise.

I see Kermit the Frog in the cloud formation! I can see his eyes in the two "bumps" on the top left portion. :-)

I love those boiling clouds. We don't see them too often here in northern California. Thanks for visiting my skies. Enjoy the week.
