Pink Saturday

This is a good, healthy snack. Try it, you will like it. Glad to see they are honoring this worthy cause.

Time for another great visit with Beverly and her Pink Saturday ladies. Take time out to visit with all of us at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog.
One of my knockout roses showing off its pinks for us today.

One of many pieces of crochet work that I have been fortunate enough to obtain from various family estates. However, do not have too many in pink.

During my visits to various blogs, I found this very nice lady. Take time out and visit Sharon at her "Amelia Rose Cottage". I enjoyed my visit with her and I am sure you will as well. Her link is http://ameliacottage.blogspot.com.

Thanks, LV, for the snack idea...I haven't tried that one. It's so wonderful to see the support for Breast Cancer Awareness from so many walks of life.

I have a pink rose crocheted doily much like yours....I'm going to have to find it and feature it on Pink Saturday, too. Thanks for your visits to CollectInTexas Gal...your comments are so thoughtful and much appreciated...Sue

Hi LV, Happy PINK Saturday! Don't you love those knock out roses! I have about 10 that a lady was throwing away, can you believe that?! Mine are dark, pinkish red. The only problem is, the deer keep eating which is why I think this gal ripped them all out! Have a great weekend, blessings, Nan

What wonderful pinks! I especially love the crochet. Crochet conjures up pictures of my mother and grandmothers for me. My mother is still crocheting. Her latest projects have been purses of her own design! She never ceases to amaze me at the age of (about to be) 81! You remind me of her in a lot of ways, including looks.

This is a delicious and healthy snack, and there is some in our refrigerator right now.

And, that crocheted piece is exquisite. Love it!

thx for sharing them with us!

Happy PS!
I think we have the same rose! Mine has a hint of yellow inside.
The doily is so different than any pattern that I have ever seen. A simple pot holder in the center, that intersects the doilies on the end. I'ld wager that's one of a kind made by very gifted hands.
Thanks for you kind words on my post. I will be following you from now on. I thought I already was, but when I checked, I couldn't find you on my list.
Off I go to make sure I get it done this time!
Hugs- Tete

Hello LV! That's the prettiest piece of crochet work that I've ever seen! And your Knockout roses are so lovely. I'm still enjoying a few roses here, but I know that any day now we'll get a hard frost and that will be the end of them until next year!
Happy Pink Saturday!

I just found out about the knockout roses and I bought a few for myself and my sister of this year. I was doing my sister's landscaping and that is how I ran into them. Oh another thing I love my doilies I don't know what I would do without them.... they make everything so heavenly!

Thank LV for stopping by leaving a very sweet comment. It is so nice to meet you.

Have a Wonderful Day and HPS to you*

LV,
I love the pink crochet work that you have collected! I used to do crochet work so I'm always picking them up at sales, too! You are right, not too many in pink.

Loved all your pinks for today. The crochet is beautiful and of course God's creation, the rose. I'm glad so many companies are helping support research.
