Pink Saturday

A very nice way to spend your Saturday is at Beverly's Pink Saturday. She and all her many friends will share some of the best pinks in town at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog. Stop by.

These are not mine. I spotted this pink canister set in an antique mall. I am always on the lookout for pinks.

Please take the time also to visit another great blogger I found this week. She is Susan at http://blackberrycreek.typepad.com. She shares a lot of interesting things I believe you will find to your liking. A couple that interest me are her quilts and books.

I think pink is quite unusual for canisters but maybe that's just me!
Wishing you a delightful weekend.

Does the antique shop owner know you have a camera?

After I did my post on parking meters, I googled, and found a lot of old parking meters. Do you in USA still use those old meters?

Love the pink color design of the canister, it's nice to sometimes visit on antique shop, you can see a lot of things that you don't see before it amuse myself and i like admiring new or old stuff. Have a great weekend Ms. LV.

Hi LaVoice. I remember cannisters like that! Now all my stuff is in boring snap-lid plastic containers. Oh well, at least they keep the Florida bugs out -- and my house is so tiny I couldn't really display these pretty pink ones properly anyway.

Your skies in the post below are beautiful as well.

Love those digital cameras!

Those canisters reminded me of my Mom...she loved pink n gray together, this is something she would have liked. Your pink rose is just beautiful.

The cannisters are wonderful. We didn't have cannisters when I was growing up. With nine children she had to find containers big enough to hold all the flour and sugar she had to buy. But I know she would have loved these just to look at and not use. Thanks for sharing, LV.
