Pink Saturday

What a pleasure it is to have a small part of the award winning Pink Saturday. If you will stop by, you will see why Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog received this great honor.

This pink beauty is from my yard. It has been beautiful every year, but it outdid itself this year. I do not understand how it is even still here. I have really abused it with my lawn mower. Thank goodness for its survival as it truly is one of my prettiest.

Another friend was made this week. She is none other than Kathryn at http://kathryn-papermatters.bkogspot.com. Even though she has not been around too long, she has a very nice blog. You will enjoy visiting her. She is very talented. Also, a former Texan which makes her blog even better.

Fabulous roses. My favourite. It's going to be ages before we get any, unfortunately. Spring takes longer in the UK (and today is miserable: wet AND windy).

Happy Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday! Your roses are beautiful my friend. I honestly don't have a green thumb and struggle to have anything live beyond a month. I think I water everything too much! :(

My daddy is from Texas and I lived there for a time. I'd move back if I could. But...my children live here and my only grandchild. I would miss them too much.

Love to you~Rebecca

When I stopped by earlier, I meant to drop down to see your Pink Saturday post. I forgot ... then just remembered! Great flowers! I know what you mean about abusing the flowers with the lawnmower. Sometimes, that's just the way it works ... or doesn't work! THanks, Jenn
