PINK SATURDAY

Beverly, at Pink Saturday, is having a great showing today of her many friends pinks. Take time out from your Saturday activities, and join us. She might even have pink lemonade. How cool would that be.

This picture speaks for itself.

This is another great piece of crochet I inherited from some family member. Just cannot remember sometimes where they come from. I have so many crochet things that I truly am proud to posse.

This a vintage, three piece dresser set. I use a lot of handwork throughout my home. Nearly every table, dresser etc. has something on it. Of course, I am from an older generation, and it is hard to change old habits.

I trust you enjoyed viewing these few pieces of pink items.

I love your scarves, especially the 3 piece set. I guess I'm from the older generation too, cause I love to put scarves on my tables.

What a pretty bunch of pink things. Your rose is lovely and I like the 3 piece dresser set. A vase of those roses would look nice on that dresser with the embroidered piece work.

Oh how I love crocheted doilies! This one is especially beautiful! I think a doily or two is necessary in any woman's home!

Thanks for sharing!

Bless you for taking care of the bees with your rose bush! I love crochet items, because someone took the time to make them with their own hands. Sometimes, it's all we have left of a person after they've gone. My grandma still keeps me warm with the crochet blanket she made me almost 35 years ago.

Oh LV, me too. I just love crocheted doilies and embroidered scarves. When I go to a church sale, garage sale or an estate sale, that is what I look at first. Even scarves as they are so versatile. Love this post. Just wonderful. Please stop by and say hi. I love to have you visit. Country Hugs, Sherry

Oh my goodness, LV! I don't know about one generation or another.. I just know I LOVE crochet doilies and embroidered scarves EVERYWHERE! Your's are BEAUTIFUL, and I wish I HAD so many to place around my OWN home! I would like to crochet a doily or two at LEAST, but I really want to finish the afghan I'm working on first! I have to be careful not to pile up too many unfinished projects! Happy Pink Saturday, and I hope you're enjoying a wonderful weekend! ~tina

Excellent designs. It's an art form, and craft, and most of all, to be able to work with your hands like that, it keeps your body and mind occupied, and most of all -- gives you ready made gifts afterwards ... But yours I'm assuming you also sell.
