Blue Monday

Since football season is getting in full swing, thought I would give you a very SMALL glimpse of the Cowboys New Stadium. However, if you want to really enjoy some lovely blue sights, join me with Smiling Sally, for Blue Monday.

A few weeks ago, my sister and I took a tour of this monster of a place. If you get a chance, it would really be worth your while to take the tour.

Front part of the stadium if you were going in.

A huge star hanging over the area where the players run onto the field.

The players large locker room. It will have a video screen for their use.

One of the control rooms.

Rolls of artificial turf used on the field. They will have different fields for various type of sports. The synthetic field will roll up into 41 different 6,000 pound wheels that can be stored when not in use.

Part of the retractable roof.

View of the doors, windows and seating on the upper level.

One of many of the huge video screens. These are really necessary in the huge place.

Lower level view of the field and seating.

One small section of the Ring of Honor.

Trust you enjoyed my glimpse of the blues today. Remember if you go to a function there, take lots of money.

That was an interesting post. Who even thinks about all those things when you are watching a game.

Good morning LaVoice. I know you enjoyed the beautiful Cowboys stadium tour. I did too. It is amazing to have a retractable roof. Nice 'blue' post.

Morning LaVoice,

Thanks for the tour of the new stadium. I am not very crazy about the outside, but the inside looks awesome. I heard the tickets were also awesome to see a game.

Happy Blue Monday.

Stadiums are so huge!

This took me back to the years I worked in the belly of Nittany Stadium at Penn State selling food to raise money for a good cause.

Fun times!

Although I shouldn't admit it, I love the Cowboys. Perhaps it's their team colors! Thanks for sharing your blues. Happy Blue Monday.

Nice Stadium. It reminds me of our own Seahawks studium and also our Mariner's stadium here in Seattle. Have a blue-deful day. from, Marilyn

Thanks for sharing! I saw the stadium on TV this past weekend as the news was reporting that the kicker kicked the ball and it hit the ceiling!

I was amazed at its size. I've always been a Cowboys fan, I'll need to try to make a game {if I can afford it!}

Great pictures!

I think it is indeed inspiring to have you blogging and I had to begin to follow you as well.

I think you offer an unique perspective on things in what you write in each of your posts and I felt truly admired to become a part of it.

I hope you decide to stop by my blog some day soon and become part of my blogging family. We could sit and share a cup of tea.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat
