Blue Monday

Smiling Sally

Nice to be back on Blue Monday after the holiday and this crazy weather. Christmas day it was 80 degrees and last night a "blue norther" arrived.  Today, may be as low as
29 degrees. I am going to pay Sally a visit at
http://smilingsally.blogspot.com and warm up.

What a welcome sight this would be.  Sunday the weather just about "blue" my mind. It thundered, lightening, and poured rain.  Then all of a sudden, I heard a noise like a car knocking in the street.  Low and behold, it was hailing so much, it covered everything like snow.  Never saw anything like it. It was pea size but a pile of it. Then the clouds opened up and flooded us.  The water higher than I have seen it in a long time.

The weather certainly has been crazy lately. Today we have snow and winds after a lot of rainy and warm winter weather.

We are getting ice today and later tonight snow. I'm heartbroken about the tornadoes in Texas. Glad you are OK.

Hi La Voice,

Texas weather is so diverse! I'm glad you didn't experience a tornado!

Thanks for playing today.

Dearest LV,
It still is very balmy and warm weather here in Georgia! But I like it, aside from way too much rain we had.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette

Oh my! I heard Texas was going to get a bad storm, and from your description it was! I hope you will have better weather from now on. Happy New Year--good health and happiness in 2016.

I heard that dramatic tornadoes in Texas caused a lot of damage and casualties.
I hope your area is safe.
I wish you "Bonne année et bonne santé 2016"

I hope you and yours are okay after all the horrible weather. We had an inch of rain yesterday, which my hubby says would have been about a foot of snow in normal December temps! It's just crazy this year.

I love your blue photos. We haven't seen much in the way of blue skies like that photo; pretty!!

Wishing you a happy and bright 2016! {{hugs}}
