Anything Goes Pink Saturday

The old saying "what a difference a day makes" so very true.  We are having a sunny, cool (not cold) day for Pink Saturday.  A lot better than last weeks when we were getting washed away and so cold. It is exciting to visit Beverly each week at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog and see what she and friends share.

Ready or not the time for doing this is fast approaching.  I certainly am not ready.

Flowers are one thing that can be enjoyed year round.  This beauty is a cactus bloom in Big Bend Park.

I am not ready either....I am not even putting up any Christmas decorations this year as we are not having any celebrations here at all....but decorations or not I think I need to get motivated with the shopping. HPS Michelle

Hi, I'm getting caught up on my blog reading. My goodness, what a fabulous photo of the deer jumping over the fence. I love it. We're getting all Christmasy here. Our tree went up today. It looks super!! Most of my cards are in the mail, and I'm almost ready to mail out most of my boxes.

Today the sun is shining and it is 50 degrees. I absolutely love it!!!!! I know it won't last, but I'm surely enjoying it.

I have just one thing to figure out now. Santa wants to know what he can bring for Pogo, and I just don't have a clue. I was thinking maybe his own lounge chair, but then where would I put it? He has tons of fuzzy blankets and sweaters. Hmmm, I'll have to think on it quickly because time is running out.

Such a problem, I know. haha. Well, now I'm off to feed my little guy some lunch. You have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Edna B.

Dearest LV.,
Guess come this time of the year, I will never be ready... It is always a kind of a melancholy for letting go of another year...
Sure there is the warmth and the joy of the Christmas season but I want to hold onto the year a bit longer... Not ready yet for letting it slip by again!
Sending you hugs and blessings.
