Outdoor Wednesday

Outdoors today in Texas is very, very wet and no relief in sight.  We were desperately in need of rain, but we need a break. Perhaps we will find some sunny outdoors at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com

This is definitely not your typical cowboy.  This is on the entryway of a friends home. She does not even live in Texas where the cowboys are supposed to be.

I heard someone on the radio say 'Texas has been praying for rain for years, but we just didn't want to get it all at once." I sure hope you'll be OK and that the flooding lets up in a little while.

I am so very sorry that you have had so much rain, LV! That is just awful! I don't know what is going on with our weather this year but it is downright scary sometimes.

That is a pretty cute cowboy though! xoDiana

I hope you are not having any problem with flloods, like so many areas in Texas, LV! This cowboy sculpture is fun! There were also once cowboys in Coorado, in fact some still live here! :)

Love the figurine ... that would be something I'd like in my yard.
Hope it does DRY up some...my son in Houston is being flooded by heavy accumulation.

My goodness, what a cute cowboy!! I surely hope that the rains stop soon so that everyone can heal from the devastation caused by all the water. I'm getting back on my feet finally, and enjoying getting caught up on my blog reading. I found your story about the security at the airport very interesting. I have not run into this, but let me say that you will probably hear me all the way to Texas if they treat me this way.

My worst episode with an airport security check was last year when they let a young man in front of me go through the checkpoint with his shoes on. But then they made this old lady (me) in a wheelchair and carrying a tiny dog stop and take off my shoes. I wonder what exactly they use for brains.

Ah well, enough. I have a lot of blog reading to do. You be safe and have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Dearest LV,
Oh my, wish we could borrow some of the rain as we need it here so desperately!
Great cowboy picture.
