Vintage Thingie Thursday

It is vintage day again with Coloradolady and friends. When you visit
http://coloradolady.blogspot.com, you will be pleasantly surprised by all the great vintage goodies.

Spotted in an antique mall this cute plate of Holly Hobbie series.

I have a neighbor that has a full set of these dishes,  They are not a known brand as they got them back in 1970 when the service stations were giving them. They do have a wheat pattern.

Both of these plates are beautiful. I like the simplicity of the plate in the third picture, but the first plate is cute.

I had a whole collection of Holly Hobby figurines back in the 70s/80s and my son knocked the display case off the wall and they ALL broke! I was heartbroken. xo Diana

I had the glasses to match them, and they were stunning, all done in the gold wheat pattern! Gas stations used to give away really good quality things. Too bad that is gone now

Sweet LV. Wouldn't it be great if gas stations still had giveaway items. Love the dishes. Visiting from VTT.

What lovely plates! I collect Holly Hobbie. I have a tiny child sized mug, that I used when I was little that has Holly Hobbie on it. One of my very favorites. My daughter uses it now! =) Blessings and Sunshine, Valerie
