Vintage Thursday

Some of the best vintage's around can be found at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com. Coloradolady would be happy to have you drop by and check them out.

A very old restaurant menu. MY! how prices have changed. Just recently I paid $2.15 for a cup of coffee.  Nearly strangled, as did not notice it being that price.  I made sure I got refills drank the last drop.

A vintage vanity set that I saw in an antique mall.

Back in the day, we all wanted vanity sets. I had a gold one a bit similar to this one.

Amazing at the differences in costs of things these days... I remember getting a chili bun and coke for a QUARTER.... ha ha...

O, I love that olden menu and the vanity set.
Yes, I did the same thing about ordering coffee that I thought I might have to take out a bank loan to pay for. Whew....I will never, ever get used to todays prices of anything.
If you've not been over to meet "my guy", you better come runnin'.

Nice! Remembering back to what things used to cost is very frustrating sometimes!

I do enjoy the antique mall around here. My favorite "me time" is sneaking in 30 minutes to walk through if I have a babysitter for some other reason already at the house.

I have a calendar from 1927, the year my mother lost her precious daddy in a mining accident. A sadness but such a treasure I keep close to me!
Menu prices are truly crazy today! A simple drink will set you back at least $2!
