It is much too hot to enjoy many outdoor activities in Texas. However, if you go to
http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com you can see many cool outdoor sights.
You never know what will turn up up in a yard.

i agree - now that we're encroaching on 100, it is hard to be outside!
makes me want a pet turtle
LV, those are some pretty neat critters in your yard. I hear you about the heat. Its finally arrived here with the humidity. Not fun at all. We go out more in the early mornings and at night.
Oh what sweet rabbits and the turtle is just too cute :)
Hugs to you!
Looks like my yard---with all of the critters around (birds, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, rabbits, skunks, etc.) ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy
What is with this bird? Either he has a very long tail, or he is spreading it or something. You caught him at just the right moment...
We have those birds, too....
great outdoor photos...
come over and see my amazing underwater pics...:)) you'll like 'em.
Wonderful shots.
If you would like some deer to add to the visitors in your yard, I'll be glad to send some your way. The deer are pretty, but they like to snack on roses and lilies
Love your "pets"...we found a tortoise in our yard once years ago, quite a surprise.
Be careful going out in the heat your'e having now though.
Hello LV, After two weeks with our grands and then a darn old cold I'm back. Thank you for the sweet comments while I was busy and not on my computer. You are so welcome for the card. I'm glad you liked it.
I love the turtle. When our boys were young my husband was active in the Y Indian Guides with them. It was sponsored by the YMCA. We were the Turtle Clan. This brought back a sweet memory.
I'm happy to be visiting you agian.
Love, Jeanne
Love seeing your wild life.

Nice to visit again LV!
I rarely go outside during the day in the summertime, although its been "cooler" here lately at 102 being the highest this week:(
Hope you're doing great!!
looks like you are getting a more interesting variety than I am. To many squirrels around here.
Hope you are having a great week.
Lots of neat critters! Love the turtle! I hate the hot weather that makes me sick and gives me a daily headache! Ugh! I would like to live somewhere where it would be in the 70s! My kind of weather! I have a couple seniors who turn 92 and 94 in August. If you want to send a card e mail me phamilybusiness1@aim.com so I can share it with you! Thanks!
