Pink Saturday Gifts

Pink Saturday, sponsored by Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog, will be filled with beautiful pink holiday decorations. You will be glad you visited.

This might be a little large for Santa's bag, but it would make a child happy to find parked under the tree.
Puzzles are always a favorite.

Some of you may have visited Cherl's blog, but if not, please do so. She shares a lot of interesting subjects and ideas. You will find her at http://chelisehery.blogspot.com. You especially need to check out her Sunday, December 4th post. What a surprise and honor.

I have grand children that have ridden in a little pink ice cream truck like this at the mall. It was always the first one they wanted to ride!

I'm in love with the little ice-cream truck. Is it new or an older toy? Sadly, the real ones seem to be a thing of the past. I think of them fondly, when most blocks would hear the bell, or the Mr. Softee music and we would all get quarters and dimes and go running!!! Something today's kids miss out on.

Hi LV, The ice cream truck is adorable. My granddaughter had a pink car about this size, but it was a jeep like vehicle. She was about 2. She immediately lifted up the hood and starting pretending to change the oil or something! I love the puzzles myself, always have. My grandsons enjoy puzzles, although they are more on the line of Star Wars. Have a beautiful weekend. HPS.

Fun gifts - and those jigsaws! I did the online one, Beverly did hers in 2 minutes something - I took over 7! Mind you, I'm rubbish at crosswords as well.

Happy Pink Saturday and a big hug from the UK.

Happy Pink Saturday! I was pinking by 4's (because my link is #104) and I took a turn to come see you. I saw on Connie's blog that you won one of her aprons. Congrats! Isn't that neat? You're right, puzzles are great. I was thinking about getting out a jigsaw puzzle this morning in fact. But thought, I better wait til the Christmas decorations are down - so I think I'll do that in January. Not a bad thing to follow December! Take care & Hugs to ya, Jenn

I did go over the Cherl's blog and looked at the surprise. That's so neat. You just seem to take the cake some days! And well you should! By the way - great photo on your profile. And, that photo of your graduation is really neat (over on Cherl's blog). Congrats again! :) Hugs, Jenn

I'm not a kid but I would love to find that pink car under my Christmas tree! HPS LV xoxo

Since that car does look a little large for Santa to carry around, I will make the supreme sacrifice to keep it here! I'm sure some of my dolls would make great use of it. Do you think there's any chance Santa is going to buy any of this? Oh well

I love those puzzles! I especially like the one with quilts. Our family has been keeping a jigsaw puzzle out on our coffee table for the past several weeks. I bought a box with 10 Christmas puzzles in it. We've shared so much more together time with our two boys since we've been doing this. Hope you had a great weekend.
