Blue Monday Special

My Blue Monday with Sally at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com is a little different.

This eye catcher is hanging in one of our banks.

Every once and in awhile, I have to include my great grandson on Blue Monday. Blue is his favorite color and he likes being on Blue Monday. This is his first year in kindergarten. He loves to go and learn.

In his class, they are rewarded each day on their conduct.

GREEN sticker - Go - You are doing fine.
YELLOW sticker - Being cautioned.
RED sticker - Stop! you are in trouble.

He has been taught to mind and follow the rules. He has been going for two weeks, and so far he has gotten all green stickers. However, there are a couple of little fellows that have gotten the yellow and red stickers. This has bothered him. The first day they received these bad stickers, in his prayers that night, he asked Jesus to not let the boys (he used their names) get the stickers again.

The next day after school, he told his parents, he guessed Jesus did not hear his prayer. The same two boys got the bad stickers again. He was assured Jesus heard his prayers, and they were answered in HIS way. Sometimes that is hard for a young person to understand. He was not giving up. That night he prayed, and asked Jesus again to help those two boys to stay out of trouble. Not too many children would be saying a prayer for their classmates. O' for the mind of of a child!

Your great-grandson is just as cute as cute can be! And his favorite color is blue! Well, my son Peter is a grown man now and his favorite color is still blue. He will tell you that I once made him blue potatoes when he was little because it meant so much to him!
Hugs,
