I made a mistake in the day I wanted this to post. So, no I am not completely crazy, but decided to run it another day for your enjoyment.
We should all take the time to stop and smell the roses. Today, I am sharing a few from my yard.
This beautiful yellow rose is one of what we call a Tyler rose. In Tyler, Texas they have an annual "Texas Rose Festival".
You would be overwhelmed by the aroma of thousands of roses. The Rose Garden" covers hundreds of acres of roses. It is a sight to behold.
I was caught in one of my many weak flower moments and bought this little beauty. I enjoy my flowers so much and trust they brought a little pleasure your way.

Vintage Thingies Thursday: Kipling Book
Welcome to another Vintage Thingies Thursday with Coloradolady. Be sure to take the time to pay her visit. There is always some very interesting items on this post.
I have no recollection of where or why I have this book. No one in my family would have owned it. Perhaps, one day at a garage sale, I saw it and thought it might be a rare book. It may not be rare, but it is certainly vintage. If any of you book authorities can enlighten me on this, I would appreciate it.
It does appear to be very old. It is a long way from being in perfect condition. However, considering its age, it has survived petty well.
Below are just three pages from this book. They are not as clear as I would have liked, but I am still learning with new camera. Trust you can read some of them. The entire book is filled with his poems.
This is a very interesting book to me for several reasons. There has to be an explanation as to why I have it. I probably had a senior moment. Trust anyone visiting my post today will find something that suits your taste.
Until we meet again, take care and enjoy each day.

"Funday"
Most of the seven days of the week feature a special post. Today, I am making this number eight as "Funday". I would like to welcome each of you to relax and enjoy every day to the fullest.
Begin your week doing something special for someone. HUGS are a great way to start. We all need a hug everyday. It does not matter if it is a small one.
You could make it as big as a bear hug.
It defintely will put a smile on your face. Try it, you will like it!
Trust this little post will be a bright spot in your day. May all your tomorrows be filled with showers of blessings.
