Blue Monday

Welcome to another special day of blues with Jeanne. Some of the best can be found at
backyardneighbor.typepad.com

On my outing last week, this blue caught my eye. Prayers are definitely needed for the
"blue officers".  There have been several around here recently.  Some so senseless.  I read where there has been 63 fallen officers in 2016.

It's certainly not a job for everyone. Sometimes its more dangerous than being in a war. Which is scary if you think about it.

It is a great reminder, I think we lost a couple more policemen last night.

Wether in the US or in my country,Canada,we do well to keep our officers in our prayer.

Good morning LV, We too are praying for the Blue. I just feel so terrible for the senseless loss of our policemen. There is so much about our country that has changed for the worst. I also pray that our new President can make changes to help our country. We both have hope.

Have a wonderful week and Happy Blue Monday.
Love,
Jeanne

Good Morning! I echo your sentiments---I've always been of the thought that no city in the country can afford to pay its officers, firefighters, and school-teachers what they're REALLY worth.

Hope you're staying well and warm, Faraway Friend.

What a wonderful idea for a Christmas gift!! I never would have thought of that. I agree that our police and firemen do not get paid enough. I am ever so grateful for all that they do to keep us safe.

You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

It is just the most horrible thing ...we have a president that could have been a big influence on stopping this bs but he didn't....If all the policemen decide to quit, we'd sure be in bad shape.
