Vintage Thingie Thursday

A great way to spend your day is with Coloradolady.  She has a wonderful vintage sharing each Thursday. Check them out at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com

Occasionally, if I have a pep in my step, I walk about six blocks to the post office. All of the area is safe, clear with a big open field. Between the field and post office is a wooded area, with a nice trail running through it. I spotted this very old army tank setting back in the trees.  No idea how it got there or just how old it is. It was definitely an I eye catcher for me.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: I  am doing okay from one eye surgery. Still difficult seeing since I have one treated eye and one not.  They are definitely not compatible. Going to try and have a few post along,  not visiting or commenting as much just yet.

Hi LaVoice. Keep up with all the Doctor's instructions. My Dad recently got his eyes 'done', one then the other and he had many eye drop instructions to follow. He did get help from neighbours as well as a care nurse coming to his home to give him the drops when needed. Take care. Hugs.

I think that is really a strange find! Hope the eyes will be OK soon.

I can understand that your eyes aren't mixing well with different treatments. On the way to work one day a few years ago my left eye contact popped out and I couldn't find it. So I had to work about six hours with just one.

When I went to sleep I felt like was in the twilight zone in a giant spiral. It messes with the brain.

I missed you and am so glad to see it went well. That tank out in the middle of a wooded area is a fantastic find!!! But then, you are seeing with new eyes (or eye)!

A mystery! Where did that tank come from.

Just so very happy to see a post from you and to know at least one eye is done and doing well. Yes, I had cataract surgery a couple of years ago and remember that the in-between week or so was just awful.

Am so glad I had it done though now. If you are having to use drops that part is hard too. I hated putting things in my eyes.
