Outdoor Wednesday

Have not been on Outdoor Wednesday in awhile.  However, do doubt there are still many interesting outdoor sights to enjoy with Susan and friends at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com

Recently, the bridge over the Trinity River in our area was in need of major repairs. The old torn down and replaced with this unique one.  It was on the news.  Perhaps you saw it, especially after some fellow rode over the top on a bicycle.

O, shoot...when I was a little kid in Dallas, we used to go over that olden bridge. I hate to know it's gone but feel sure this new, fancy one is much safer. My daddy used to take us fishing in the Trinity River and all we ever caught was Alligator Gars...ewwww....threw them back.

They did the same with a bridge in Charleston, SC. I managed to see and be on the old bridge before it was gone.

This bridge is really something else! Your first picture is like an optical illusion!

That is quite a unique looking bridge! I like it but doubt I would think to ride a bike on top!
