:o) I am drawn to those old school desks! I have two little ones that I use as night stands in one bedroom...one large one as an end table in our tv/family room...one double desk from England that our girls used when they were little and I homeschooled them one year...and two tiny ones that I will put in my sewing/art/craft room, for when our grandchildren are visiting and want to craft/sew/do art with me :o)
(My hubby says, I have more than enough! haha but I still like to look at them when we are out antiquing).

Blessings & Aloha!

I love seeing old schools. We visited one in Cataloochee Valley once... Those old desks brought back memories!!!!!

Yes--times have changed, but some of the changes are not always good ones... ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Wow, what a difference for sure. I saw a one room school house yesterday for the Amish children. I'm sure they had NO amenities.
