Blue Monday

Smiling Sally
It's time for another exciting Blue Monday with Sally and friends. They have all gathered at

http://smilingsally.blogspot.com

Recently, I attend an arts and craft show. They had several things for the children to enjoy. This is one of them. You climbed the blue ladder to the top and went down the other side on a wire.

The man in the yellow jacket is the operator. Two children decided they would  try it.
Here they were being told what to do and expect.  Getting all geared up for the ride. However, one of the girls chickened out.
And, here she goes.  Click on the photo for a better shot of her hanging on to just a thin wire.

Whee! I must confess, La Voice, I'd chickened out too.

I goofed up with Mr. Linky and had to TRY to correct my error. That's why we had such a clumsy start.

Happy Blue Monday!

I've wanted to try this. The Ozarks has some that fly through the woods.

Wow. Did you try? It looks like Will Rogers. Are you going to the Senior Craft Sale in October?
Thanks for sharing your cool Blue.
Mine are Random pics.
Come see me.

I only had one chance to zipline and chickened out. I was 12, and it was over a river and it was a pretty large gap of distance.

Plus some of the kids were allowed to jump off and dive, which made the fear worse.

I would be a big chicken. I hate heights. But good for her! Have a great week LaVoice.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog LV. They were just what I needed.
I think I would not dare go on that rope too.
Have a nice week

There's a zipline at the pumpkin patch we take the kids to. They think it's the absolute best thing ever -- as I stand watching, praying that the younger two will hold on tightly enough!

oooh! that's a long one and so high!
I like to encourage bravery in my granddaughter, but I'm not sure about that one....

Kids are usually braver than adults? I used to swing on a trapeze over a stream as a kid, though one time I started out with bent elbows and straightening them made me fall, it was shallow and pebbly. But OK. But as an adult I don't desire to do zip lines, unless maybe they had a seat to sit on. But they're kind of like a ski lift in challenge.

Hello LV, I think I might chicken out too. HA! It does look like a fun thing to do if you are brave. Nice that it was our favorite color blue.

It has cooled off so much here in the mountains at night. The days are in the 70's or low 80's. We are also seeing a bit of color. My favorite time of the year has always been Fall.

Love, Jeanne

I'd probably have been the chicken-out girl when I was that age. Now I might try it!

You won't see me on a zip line! Nice pictures though! Sounds like a fun event.

Good photos, LV! I would be afraid to go flying on that wire. That was a brave girl who did!
