Vintage Thingie Thursday

Coloradolady invites you to join her at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com for the best vintage show in town. You can also say hello by clicking her button.

During my roaming around, I spotted this very old, well worn book. In fact, I was afraid to handle it very much, as it WAS VERY OLD AND EASILY TORN.  I found it to be a very interesting vintage find.

I love those old books. I found one of my Mom's the other day, about how to be a housewife. Mom is 92 1/2 and I am guessing it was a wedding present. I've gone over to Colorado Lady to share my painted toy chest bench post this week.

Have a great week yourself. We had sunshine today (a break from the rain).

That is a classic.

What a great find LV. It does look very fragile, but the graphics are so interesting. 1918 that's amazing. Happy VTT.

What a fun book. That's one I have never seen. Thanks for your kind comments about allergies. I'm glad you don't have them either!

I do love old books! It makes you stop and wonder about the people who have read them over the years!

Always a wonderful vintage find from you! My sister just found a note, written on some type of wooden post note from 1945. My aunt was living in Southern California before she married my uncle and my sis said her grandson was playing the organ in the attic and it fell out of the organ! What a treat!
I have a calendar, intact, from 1927 the year my mother lost her older brother and her father in a mining accident. It is very precious to me!
Suzanne always has lots of wonderful shares!
