Vintage Hanging

Today is a special occasion on Coloradolady's Thursday. You will witness a vintage hanging. Many more interesting showings can be found at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com

 Galvanized bucket hanging.

These type buckets can be used for so many things. I have a few.  They make great planters and watering containers.

I love galvanized buckets. They're getting so hard to find around here; I ask about them at every yard sale I go to.

Thank you very much for visiting my blog and leaving the comment. You have a wonderful blog. I like this posting very much. The buckets remind me very much of my childhood. These buckets are useful for many things. We used to use them to water our garden, pick green beans, and milk the cows. Great blog.

I just love these!! I can see a foot tub or two, several carry-buckets, a spouted one, and a couple of slender white ones that I swear are the stove-pipe buckets of the well out on Mammaw's old Home Place.

Chris just bought me a #2 galvanized tub, and we put it upside down right outside our bedroom windows---like sleeping under an old tin roof in the rain.
