Pink Saturday

I am so glad to be a part of the Pink Saturday group. Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog always makes us feel so welcome. In fact, she has been having bigger parties for us the past few months. Last weeks I think there were 224 in attendance.
One of pink flowers from last year. Waiting for their arrival gives me something to forward to.
This is a little pink drive-in restaurant in a nearby town. They make the best hamburgers. However, the star attraction is the homemade ice cream. Absolutely melt in your mouth. They cannot keep enough on hand in the summer.

A pretty pink flower show from a friend's yard.

Such sweet little flowers you have. I'm going to try my hand at flowers this year. I really love Hydrangeas I think they are lovely. I also adore that ol' pink drive-in. I would love to have the chance to spend a day or two in the "Good Ol' Days." Just to experience the ride in a '57 chevy and to actually wear a beautiful full skirt with a fluffy crinoline or a day in the 1880s learning how to live simply. That's what your pink drive-in made me think of. Thank you for stopping by my place. I bet you have many stories to tell. I would love to hear all of them. I will let you when that garden of mine starts producing. Take care.

I love your pretty pinks. I will be 81 on my birthday and like you - love my life and live it to the fullest extent. My sweet hubby passed away 5 1/2 years ago. I am a crafter still and had a Gift show last November that was very successful. I have ideas floating around my brain always and know I will never live long enough to do all the things I want to do, Am seldom ever boared and have many friends. Good for you too that you do as you pleased. I seldom worry about my age as it in no way ever holds me back. Have a wonderful week.............
