A very nice way to spend your Outdoor Wednesday is with Susan and friends. Join us at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com.
We all have our lonely days. Even this bird looks sad and lonely. Possibly looking for something that will never come.
In this sky shot, do you see what I see? To me, that is a man laying down, face up and behind him is his wife.

Two great shots...the bird does look a little lonely. I used to participate in a meme which she posted photos of clouds and you had to say what you see. It was kinda fun...lots of times I just couldnt see anything. In yours, I do see the man...but cant find the woman. Have a great day LV
Somehow I think the only companion that little bird is looking for is a minnow for dinner:@)
A lovely solitary bird shot, a blue heron? Yes, even this bird looks depressed, only I don't think that birds can get depressed. That must be singularly human.
Great photos, LV... I see what you see in the clouds in that second shot..... Neat!!!!
Have a great evening.
Hugs,
Betsy
Saw the man but the lady must be pretty small...lol...great photos.
Beautiful shots, LV...I did see the man but not sure about the woman. He looks like he's taking a little afternoon siesta :) Yes, the bird does look lonely...thank you for such lovliness!
Hi LV it took me a moment to figure out the sky lol but I did hehehe.
Wonderful to see a blue herron. A little boy years ago that went fishing with us, said that herron's not blue it is gray. The things that come out of the mouths of babes.

terrific captures! especially the sky shot. Yes, I did though it took me a while to figure it out. The man has a big nose :))..just joking.
i love your interpretation of the sky photo. i can visualized it also. nice shot LV.:-)
Thank you for pointing out the man in the clouds. I can see him.
Such a sad little bird. Guess he was looking for lunch :-)

I see them, too!!
I still do that too (look at clouds and make up picture stories) -- one of the things that keep us young-at-heart LV!!
Sallie (70+ blogging to ??)
The bird needs a companion, I think that's it!! I see the man in the clouds, the woman eludes me. But everyone sees something different in the clouds, I love doing this too.
Ann
I see them both!! Glad you caught that at the right moment. A few minutes later and it would be maybe an elephant?
I do see the man, but not his wife. He is a "big guy" so maybe she is too small for me to see? :) Hope you have blue skies and sunny days!
Nice shots. I need to go back and look at the clouds again. My coffee never kicked in this morning. :)
So cute! Great outdoor post LV.
Have a lovely day.

LV,
I just wanted to say sorry for the delay with your gift that you won in my Giveaway. My printer is down and I use it to print my shipping labels on line. My son is coming on Thursday to look at it and if he can't get it back on line, Joe will take them to the Post Office on Friday. I will let you know when it does go out in the mail.
Hugs,
Debbie
Love the heron and the gorgeous clouds!
Totally agree with you that those colours over at my place aren't for me either!
Hope you're having a lovely week,
XOXO Lola:)
Hi LV ... very cool shots. I see 3 faces in the clouds: A big head above the middle fence post and a smaller head right next to it on the right. But I also see another one, a face wearing glasses in the top left hand corner.
Last night, when I was posting my WW/OW ... I could see lots of faces in the water.
Have a great day!
I must be blind.. I stared at the photo for 5 minutes and couldn't see anything but beautiful fluffy cotton balls...
I use to see forms in the clouds too. :)
Glad you found my Costa Rican Birdblog. Your are welcome back there, It will be a lot more until I am finished. :):)
I feel sorry for the bird... :( It looks really sad, wet and sick...

Yes, lovely shots that clearly tell stories.
Great photos! I've been watching a pair of herons at the park where I walk...they are so interesting! ♥
