Blue Monday

You can tell I am scraping the bottom of the barrel in order to participate in Smiling Sally's Blue Monday. Believe me if you join us, you will see many other very pretty blues.

These signs speak for themselves.

Hi, LV! I'm so glad you posted blue today because it's good to see you! I wish, though, that those gas prices were a dollar less than the sign shows. Remeber when gas was less than a dollar? I can remember riding around all over creation on $1 worth of gas. It wouldn't get you very far these days, maybe to the end of the block!

Happy Blue Monday to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Good Morning LV!
Well, this blue tags and signs they are really blue.
I was looking back and saw your lovely pink theme - oh I loved that little sweet ballerina in pink, and also the other pink stuff.
Thank's for all your comments on my blogposts - nice that you are visiting me!
Happy Blue Monday to you, and have a Great Week!/

That's very interesting, notice we associate blue with water and ice and the sign makers know it!

Would be even better if the gas and ice prices were swapped. I can make ice, but that gas is another story.

Oh, the blue gas sign makes ME blue!! :( When I was in high school, back in the stone ages, we could ride around all night on a dollars worth of gas. We'd all chip in and put gas in our parents car....I didn't own a car until after graduation and starting to work.
Happy Blue to you!

Good morning, LV, and thank you for your BLUES. I've often thought that I might just take a picture of a blue sign, so I think that this is an excellent idea! Happy Blue Monday.

Happy Blue Monday, LV! I think the price of gas and oil makes everyone blue; even here in Canada! Have a nice day.

Wow, you gas prices are low compared to ours! Ours are from 3.07 to 3.15 around here. That is California for you. Seems to always be higher here than anywhere else. Although I managed to find a station at 2.99 and that is where I got my last tankful. But that was not in my town though.

Thanks for visiting my sewing Blue Monday!

Hello LV,

Your gas prices are $0.10 more than mine were this morning. I was thrilled when I pumped gas this morning to see the prices has dropped a few cents more.

Very creative!

I think this is a wonderful "blue Monday" post. Very Americana.

Gas here is over $3.00 a gal. Why I'm I living in California?
