Anything Goes Pink Saturday

A beautiful, sunny, cold day in Texas.  No doubt there will be some warm pinks at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog

Sweet! And oh so very feminine! We're having perfect Texas weather here on the coast too.

Dearest LV.,
Oh, those perfect sunny blue sky days with cooler weather are a gift. We were so lucky after some tornado watch and heavy rain for 1.5 day to drive through Shenandoah National Park via the Skyline Drive with my 90.5 year old Pieter. Before that we did the entire Blue Ridge Parkway Drive, started in Asheville, NC as we had a wedding in Tennessee before. Turned out that the day we drove the Shenandoah National Park, we were told that after the tornado the entire Blue Ridge Parkway got closed due to downed trees! How very lucky we were, all 3 days driving in sunshine! Now I'm home after 2 more days driving in sunshine and completing my 1,900 mile adventure as a solo driver~
Hugs,
Mariette
