Blue Monday

Whatever you do honoring the 4th, enjoy but be safe.  It is a blast getting to visit magicalmysticalteacher.wordpress.com and see other interesting blues.
Last weekend a new mall opened.  Big,nice and filled with new and vintage booths.  I thought these wreaths were appropriate for blue day since it was almost the 4th.

Our daddy made sure we always had a watermelon on the 4th.  We raised our own. Ate a lot right out in the field. You would not believe what we did back in my young days to have fun. What a difference time makes.

Happy 4th to you, Lavoice. Love your photos today... I just love my country and anything Patriotic.....

Wish I could find a good watermelon these days. We bought one from Walmart --and ended up throwing it away. NO FLAVOR... Dang!!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

Most of the 4th wreaths I have seen look so trashy. But these are abundant, fluffy, and gorgeous!! Makes me want to buy one. But none around here are this pretty. I hope you have a great fourth! And maybe have some watermelon...

Pretty wreaths for the holiday. I know what you mean about the things we did for fun in our day. You are probably like us, we never was bored. Always something to do. We even found fun in walking down to main street to sit on a bench in front of the barber shop and wave at strangers in our small town.

Dearest LV.,
Hope you are having a happy ending of the 4th of July!
Yes, times do change and are not comparable with present times.
But I always loved the clean fun had back then.
Hugs,
Mariette
