Blue Monday

Nice to be sharing another great Blue Monday with Jeanne at
backyardneighbor.typepad.com

For the next weeks will be sharing some young fellows very special to me.

It definitely is baseball season for the big guys as well as the little leagues. As most of you know, Layton grew up on Blue Monday.  Blue is his favorite color and he liked being featured with Sally.
He has participated in most all sports, but golf is his favorite.  Presently, he is on the "Dirtbags" baseball team.  He plays center field.  His team is doing really well.

This is a snapshot of his team and coaches.  They pray before each game and afterwards as well.  Kinda to the left of the picture is the back of No. 23, Layton. Time passes much too fast, enjoy your little ones while they are small.  He will be 12 in August.

I agree, the children grow up so fast. Not so long ago, my grandson Bobby played little league baseball. Today he is dad to his own child, while his younger brother Kevin plays baseball on his college team. Where do the years go?

We are blessed. Have a super day, hugs, Edna B.

Good morning my sweet friend, I laughed when you mentioned Suzanne's cabin because that is exactly where these photos were taken. Big smile here. We rented it from her a few years ago. Small world.

Layton is so handsome and I love hearing about him. I know he is a very special great grandson to you and I can't believe he is 12. How wonderful for him to play sports and I bet he is very good at playing baseball. Both photos are terrific. Layton is so handsome with the sweetest face. We kept our boys and the girls very busy in sports to keep them busy. They learn a lot about life playing sports. I believe in it for kids so much.

Have a wonderful week and Easter. Thank you for joining Blue Monday and your very sweet comment. I am loving doing this for Sally. Thank you for your Pink Saturday comment as well. You are a dear friend in so many ways.

Love,
Jeanne

Adorable young man and yes dear friend, time passes by like a tornado and we are still thinking slow. My grandgirl is taller then me and she's gonna be 12 too this June. Oh well, as long as they're happy and healthy, that's it, can't stop time!

Good luck to his team. How sweet that they pray before a game.
Happy Easter,
FABBY

It is hard to believe your Layton is already 12, LV! So true that children, and grandchildren, grow up so quickly. Good luck to his baseball team--they chose a funny name for it!

Dearest LV.,
Yes those little ones do grow up fast but it is only indicating that we are aging fast...
As long as our lives remain filled with happy memories; that's okay.
Hugs,
Mariette
