Pink Saturday

Going back in time today with Beverly and the Pink bloggers.  No doubt if you VISIT
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog you might find some pretty pinks.

This game is a Milton Bradly from 1973.

Another of Mr. Bradley's creation from 1961.

A puzzle map from the Rand McNally Map Company.  It is from 1965.

I still have a small chest full of the board games we played when my daughters were growing up.

Ah, such fun memories these games bring. I keep a few board games in our living room for the tenants to enjoy should they want to. Of course, it's hard to get them off their cell phones. They can play on them for hours at a time.

Your photo of the dilapidated fence made me feel sorry for it. Too bad someone couldn't just spruce it up a bit. I'll bet it was a beauty in its heyday.

Now I'm off to find some fun mischief to get into. You have a super weekend. Hugs, Edna B.

Oh, those all look so familiar! Those puzzle maps are how I learned the capitol of every state when I was a kid. My mom would quiz me on them as she was doing chores. Thanks for bringing back such good memories!
