Pink Saturday

More ways than one to celebrate an occasion.  Saturday's we honor Beverly and her pinks. Some great ones are at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog

This is the way I celebrated the 4th.  Like this bird, eating a good ole cold watermelon.

Beverly being the best hostess ever, a large array of roses just for you.

Hi there friend! Oh my goodness, I loved when you said I talked a lot! Hee Hee! I learned from my mother, She was a gabby girl and her mother and father were both very quiet according to lots of stories she told us! It is the one trait she gave me that was a good thing. She had bad bones and of course, I have those too. I think my bad eyesight skipped a generation because my grandmother had poor sight and lost it when I was seven years old! My mother, on the other hand, had terrific eyesight until the very day she passed away!
I use to love sending the birthday cards to seniors when Suzanne had those on her blog! Sigh! I have recently read about two ladies celebrating birthdays well over 100! I would love to know them and be able to sit down and chat! I imagine they were a wealth of information. Anytime I talk with someone older than me I am always listening intently because you just learn so much! You share terrific stuff and those pink roses are divine! I bet I could teach a parrot to talk- lol lol lol! Have a super day my favorite blogging buddy from Texas!

Hello dear LV. Thank you so much for your concern and well wishes for Bill. He is doing well and on his way to painless walking. Things are better now without as much care giving. I am finding some time on my computer again.

The bird eating watermelon is so cute. I did have a nice watermelon and I gave it to my nephew for his party on the 4th. Sadly I didn't have time to eat any of it. It looks so good.

The roses are so pretty. I love them when they grow like that. I do not have much luck with roses here.

Have a wonderful week my sweet friend.
Love,
Jeanne

I missed you on Pink Saturday but I liked your watermelon shot...I too enjoyed it on the 4th and every day thereafter. It's hard to finish off a watermelon when it's just one person eating it!
