Pick a Pair

Welcome to a special day with Coloradolady and her Vintage Thingies Thursday. For the best of viewing go to http://coloradolady.blogspot.com.

Today I am featuring some vintage pillow cases. Most of them were from family estates. They are all standard size. They have not been used in years. I do not have standard size pillows anymore.

Are you saying that even our pillows are supersized these days?

Those are great pillowcases. I love the first his and hers set. Fun.

LV,
I just love the His and Hers pillow cases with the panties and shorts on them! How original - they are so cute! I have a couple of vintage pillow cases but only use them for show.

Nice collection - makes me remember all the sets my grandmother made and gave us.

you applique the boxer and boomers on the pillow case? You should not use them, but give them to your grand daughters and daughter-in-laws as heirlooms.

That bed looks lovely - so inviting. I loved your pillow cases, but my favourite photo was the third one. So pretty!

I love vintage pillow cases! I have collected some for my granddaughters. I've even embroidered some to look like vintage. Thanks for showing us those!

There used to be so much personality in the pillowcases in the years gone by. I guess life was much simpler then and with no electronics to to speak, that was their entertainment.
Vintage pillow cases can be so lovely and even decant to the whimsical. I have several from my Grandmother and Mother and I cherish them.

Cute pillow cases! Thanks for stopping by my blog -- I hope you'll reconsider watching Will & Kate get married. After all, it's Princess Di's son!
